Goat Kids
Deposit Agreement
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold a kid. If for any reason, after the deposit is made, the kid becomes sick or injured the deposit will be refunded. If the buyer changes their mind, or cannot complete the sale for any reason, the deposit will not be refunded. Kids must be sold in pairs unless it is determined that the buyer already has goats.
Weaned kids are to be paid for and picked up within 5 days of weaning. Kids will be weaned at 8 wks of age and full payment is due at that time. If you are not local and must make pick up arrangements, take that into consideration before making non-refundable deposit. Difficulty arranging pick up does not mean you can take as long as you like to pay for the kid. Kids not paid for and picked up 5 days after weaning will be placed back on the sales list and your deposit forfeited.
Balances due must be paid in full before the kid leaves the farm. Final payments done at the time of pick up must be cash. Check payments must have time to clear the bank before the kid can leave the farm.
Kids will be vaccinated, dewormed, and have the appropriate registration applications (i.e. AGS/AGDA/MDGA) when they leave the farm. The kid must have the prefix of JandB in their registered name. We cannot warrant the health status of a goat after it leaves our farm. All sales are final. Taking a kid off our farm implies that you have read and agreed to the terms of sale and are satisfied with the condition of the animal.
The kid(s) must be transported safely in a ventilated, sheltered cage/trailer. We reserve the right to refuse the sale of any kid should the buyer not have a safe method of transportation for the goat or kid.
We do not ship any animals.
